The all mountain board is good for everything that you could possibly dream of doing on the mountain. It's the most popular types of board and is specifically designed for riding really well on powder. Freestyle boards are wider and more stable which makes it easier to ride. It's shorter and lighter than other boards which makes it perfect for the terrain park and doing tricks. This is the best types of board for a beginner. This board is best used for racing and is not a beginner board. It's narrow and doesn't flex easy which makes it faster. If you get this board it is best to be very good at carving.

Davos, Swtizerland They offer many long intermediate runs that will challenge and amaze you. They have more than one mountain to skii on so you could go to a different part every day and never skii the same thing twice. Go to Davos Ski Resort's site.
Whistler, Canada This is the location of the 2010 winter olympics. It has been called the # 1 mountain resort in North America. Big Sky, Montana This is a relatively small skii resort compared to the others on the list but it is one of the best places to skii in Montana. They have runs for all levels of snowboarders and skiiers and offer some great terrain parks. Go to Big Sky's site.
Mt. Baker, USA Located in Washington, they hold the world record for the most snowfall in one year. It's most known for its challenging slopes and offer a large variety of backcountry to skii and snowboard on. Go to Mt. Baker's site.
